On 10/26/18, NHMC signed on to Public Interest Spectrum Coalition (PISC) comments urging the FCC to adopt the public interest coalition’s proposal to allow shared use of the vacant C-band spectrum for rural/underserved areas so communities can create their own networks. It also opposes the private auction proposal which essentially allows industry to buy spectrum with no public interest conditions. To view the draft letter, click here.
