Victoria de la Concha was born to break a family curse. She’s from a long line of almost-writers
– undiscovered poets and playwrights. Whichever ancestor angered a witch must be happy that
Victoria was awarded a full-ride scholarship to earn her M.F.A. in Writing and Producing at
LMU. As a second-generation, queer Puerto Rican storyteller, she strives to write characters who
show there’s no mold for every LatinX to fit in.
Recipient of the LMU School of Film and Television Council Scholarship (2019)
