Statements of Support for modernizing the Lifeline Program were released from nearly 70 national and regional civil rights organizations, policymakers, media rights advocates and other community groups in support of modernizing the Lifeline Program. These groups that represent diverse constituencies include the National Council of La Raza, American Civil Liberties Union, Center for Media Justice, NAACP, Benton Foundation, National Hispanic Media Coalition, Public Knowledge, the American Library Association and The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. ]]>
